Mushrooms are processed in gathering areas and inside facilities with special refrigerating rooms and cells for storage.
Mushrooms are cleaned and sorted before freezing.
Transport takes place with refrigerated lorries, complying with the laws in force, in order to prevent interruption of the cold chain.
Product is packed in bags of different weights (from 300 g to 2.5 kg) and then distributed in cartons (90 pcs per Euro-pallet). Frozen mushrooms are available whole or cut. Packs can contain a single kind of mushroom or assorted kinds.
Porcini are available whole, halved, caps only, thinly sliced or diced.
